From performing at the White House for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, to a successful tour of South Africa, the musically versatile quartet has collaborated with diverse musicians including Itzhak Perlman, Jeremy Denk, and Chick Corea.
Pianist Inon Barnatan, performing with the Viano String Quartet, will present The Time Traveler's Suite, a program designed by Barnatan himself.
Join us for an afternoon of chamber music featuring the Ivalas Quartet performing music of those less heard and sometimes unknown.
Complementing the Museum’s exhibit Clyfford Still, Art, and the Young Mind, the March Music in the Galleries will showcase a professional string duo (El Sistema teaching artists) followed by an upper-level El Sistema string quartet.
