TAKT Trio

A special event performance with TAKT Trio, featuring David Byrd-Marrow, solo horn with the International Contemporary Ensemble and horn faculty, Lamont School of Music. Byrd-Marrow will be performing with Austin Wulliman, violin, and Conor Hanick, piano.

FCM, in collaboration with the Newman Center and the Lamont School of Music, is thrilled to present a special event featuring TAKT Trio. This unique ensemble showcases David Byrd-Marrow, a solo hornist with the International Contemporary Ensemble, a member of The Knights, and a faculty member at the Lamont School of Music.  Byrd-Marrow will perform with Austin Wulliman, violin, and Conor Hanick, piano.

In honor of György Ligeti’s centennial, TAKT Trio will perform the composer’s Trio for Violin, Horn, and Piano, alongside Brahms’s Horn Trio and a new composition by Hilda Paredes, one of Mexico’s most prominent contemporary composers.
