Benjamin Beilman, violin and Steven Osborne, piano

Mr. Beilman’s handsome technique, burnished sound and quiet confidence…showed why he has come so far so fast. — The New York Times

Scottish pianist Steven Osborne makes a long-awaited return to FCM’s series, this time with violinist Benjamin Beilman.  One of the youngest artists to be appointed to the faculty of the Curtis Institute of Music, Beilman is the recipient of a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, an Avery Fisher Career Grant, and a London Music Masters Award. Osborne’s numerous awards include The Royal Philharmonic Society’s Instrumentalist of the Year, two BBC Music Magazine Awards and two Gramophone Awards.

“Osborne is a poet of the piano.  He is an introspective, thoughtful musician.”  — South Florida Classical Review
