Celebrating their 50th Anniversary Season as the nation's premier repertory company for chamber music, thirteen artists will join FCM for a program entitled "New World Spirit."
Ensemble Faucheux will present a program of music for strings and flute featuring works by Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Pulitzer Prize runner-up Andrew Norman, and composer/flutist Elizabeth Brown.
The Altius Quartet performs Janaek'ss String Quartet No. 2, Intimate Letters, and Ravel'ss String Quartet in F Major.

Spektral Quartet performs Tonia Ko's work Plain, Air for string quartet and electronics
The Spektral Quartet makes its FCM debut on December 11. Named “Chicagoans of the Year” in 2017, Spektral is known for creating seamless connections across centuries, drawing in the listener with charismatic deliveries and bold, inquisitive programming.
