Join us on Sunday, April 19 – at either 1 PM or 2 PM – for “Music in the Galleries,” featuring the Moxie String Quartet.
(Typically the second Sunday of the month, this performance has been moved to avoid the Easter holiday.)
The Moxie String Quartet is an ensemble of professional, locally based musicians Nina Fronjian and Brune Macary, violins; Aniel Cabán, viola; and Joseph Howe, cello. Their program will include Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 2 in G Major, Op. 18, No. 2 and Radiohead’s Paranoid Android. Members of the quartet perform with a variety of area orchestras, symphonies, ensembles, and chamber orchestras.
Join us for a program as exciting and eclectic as the record collection of Clyfford Still that inspires it. Experience live performances surrounded by Still’s vibrant paintings and award-winning architecture. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Music is free with admission to the galleries. As a part of our partnership, the museum is offering FCM patrons $5 half-price tickets (if purchased in advance) to enter the museum on performance days. To purchase discounted tickets, click here, and use Discount Code MIGPartners.
Please join us for one of these two identical performances:
1:00 – 1:45 PM
2:00 – 2:45 PM
Note: Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
