Les Violons du Roy with MILOŠ, guitar

Les Violons du Roy, a focal point of Québec City’s musical life since it was founded in 1984, will be performing with MILOŠ, one of the world’s most celebrated classical guitarists.

Returning to our series for a second time, Quebec’s 15-member Les Violins du Roy – named after the court orchestra of the French Kings – will perform a program of Baroque and Classical music with Conductor and Music Director Jonathan Cohen.  Thirty-six recordings by Les Violons du Roy have all been met with widespread critical acclaim.

Les Violons du Roy will be joined by the world-renowned classical guitarist, Miloš Karadaglić.  His career began its meteoric rise in 2011 with the release of his international best-selling Deutsche Grammophon debut album Mediterraneo.
