Gabriela Montero’s visionary interpretations and unique compositional gifts have garnered her critical acclaim and a devoted following around the world. In her series debut, Montero presents a program inspired by the music of Spain—rich in color, rhythm, and expressive freedom, including works by Albéniz, Granados, Larrocha, and Scarlatti, with Liszt’s Spanish Rhapsody closing the program.

PRE-CONCERT TALK: Join us at 6:00 PM for a pre-concert talk with Argentinean-American Steven Aguiló-Arbues. He has an active career as a conductor, chorus master, vocal coach, recitalist, and producer. Aguiló-Arbues has performed as a solo and collaborative pianist throughout Spain, Italy, Peru and the United States, including Carnegie Hall. He has taught and worked at institutions including the Manhattan School of Music, Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and University of Colorado Boulder.
