Exploring the Cello

Friends of Chamber Music is pleased to collaborate with Kavod on the Road to present this afternoon performance focused on the cello.

Cellist Ernie Carbajal and friends are joining together to present a program focused on the cello.  The cello is described as an incredibly versatile instrument that resembles and expresses the human voice. This live musical program explores the cello, both as a solo and chamber instrument. From opera arrangements to sea shanties; solo Bach to modern cello quartet developments like Paul Wianko’s Cello Quartet No. 1, the ensemble will explore the cello’s versatility as a solo, duo, and quartet instrument.

Light refreshments will follow the program.
