Emerson Quartet

“With musicians like this there must be some hope for humanity.” – The Times (London)

The Emerson Quartet, a perennial FCM audience favorite, will disband in 2023.  This will be their 18th and final performance on our Chamber Series and will feature masterpieces from the Romantic era including the Ravel String Quartet and George Walker’s Lyric.

“America’s string quartet” will bid farewell after 47 years.  Read Ray Rinaldi’s Sept. 1 Denver Post article here.
