Brentano Quartet

Returning to Denver after nearly a decade, the Brentano Quartet brings three decades of experience and acclaim back to the FCM stage, performing an all-Beethoven program.

Making their first return to FCM since 2016, the distinguished Brentano Quartet has been a cornerstone of American chamber music for over 30 years. Renowned for their profound musical insight, the quartet has captivated audiences worldwide, earning both critical and popular acclaim.

PRE-CONCERT TALK:  Join us at 6:30 PM for a pre-concert talk by Dr. Richard Niezen,  Associate Professor of Music at Colorado Christian University. Brentano musicians Serena Canin, violin, and Misha Amory, viola, will join Dr. Niezen for a conversation about the evening’s program. Dr. Niezen has his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Research and Policy from UCCS, and a Masters in Music Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.  He has served as a music director and music educator in a number of Colorado communities, including 11 years as director of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra.
