SUMMARY:Les Violons du Roy with MILOŠ\, guitar
DESCRIPTION:Returning to our series for a second time\, an ensemble from Quebec’s Les Violins du Roy will perform a program of Baroque and Classical music with Conductor and harpsichordist David Belkovski. Thirty-six recordings by Les Violons du Roy have all been met with widespread critical acclaim.  This concert will be presented in a string quintet\, harpsichord\, and guitar configuration. \nLes Violons du Roy will be joined by the world-renowned classical guitarist\, Miloš Karadaglić.  His career began its meteoric rise in 2011 with the release of his international best-selling Deutsche Grammophon debut album Mediterraneo. \nThank you to CPR Classical for supporting this event. \n \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Music in the Galleries:  Gregory Walker\, violin
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a classical Sunday afternoon featuring violinist Gregory Walker. Motion and emotion are at the heart of centuries of solo violin repertoire\, and Walker will treat us to a program including the unaccompanied dances of J.S. Bach and Nicolo Paganini’s virtuosity to the down-and-dirty blues of Gregory T.S. Walker and African-American pioneer Dolores White. \nThis event will include two identical concerts at noon and 1 p.m.   Performances are included with museum admission.  For tickets purchased online\, FCM patrons receive $2 off adult and senior tickets with code MUSIC.  Visit www.clyffordstillmuseum.org for tickets. \nSeating is limited and first come\, first served. The music may be enjoyed from any gallery. \nViolinist and composer Gregory Walker has developed unique collaborations with Poland’s Filharmonia Sudecka and the Encuentro Musical de los Americas in Cuba\, as well as the Colorado Symphony\, Detroit Symphony\, Cleveland Chamber Symphony\, Breckenridge Festival Orchestra\, Colorado Music Festival Orchestra\, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.   He has been engaged at Norway’s Tromsø Cathedral Series\, the Centro Mexicano para la Musica y las Artes Sonoras\, the Cork Orchestral Society Concert Series in Ireland\, the Genesis Concert Series in Beijing\, the NWEAMO Festival in Tokyo\, Chetana International Music Festival in India\, and at the U.S. Library of Congress.  Walker is an American Academy of Arts and Letters fellowship-winning composer\, University of Colorado Denver professor\, and sometime guitar hero profiled in “Guitar for the Practicing Musician” magazine.  He was also featured in the internationally-distributed documentary film\, “Song of the Untouchable.” \nPresented in collaboration with the
