SUMMARY:Music in the Galleries:  Colorado Cello Quartet
DESCRIPTION:The first Music in the Galleries of the season features the celebrated Colorado Cello Quartet.  Based in the Denver/Boulder area\, these four cellists are internationally recognized soloists\, chamber musicians\, and educators. Featuring cellists David Requiro\, Meta Weiss\, Alice Yoo\, and Matthew Zalkind\, this unique and versatile ensemble is passionate about championing new works and expanding the cello quartet literature. \nThe program will include Alexandre Tansman’s Two Movements for Cello Quartet\, Richard Wagner’s “Feierliches Stück” from Lohengrin\, and works arranged by members of the quartet.\n\n\n\nThis event will include two identical concerts at noon and 1 p.m.   Performances are included with museum admission.  For tickets purchased online\, FCM patrons receive $2 off adult and senior tickets with code MUSIC.  Visit www.clyffordstillmuseum.org for tickets. \nSeating is limited and first come\, first served.
