For over four decades the Emerson Quartet has enjoyed unparalleled success. The arrival of cellist Paul Watkins in 2013 infused the famous ensemble with a joyful energy. This will be the Emerson's 15th performance on our series.

Master Class: Violinist Philip Setzer will be coaching a master class for students at the Lamont School of Music on Thursday, May 16, 10:00 a.m. The class will be held in Hamilton Hall and is free and open to the public.
